You’ll find yourself at the Worldwound, where the nation is gripped by a terrifying rift that opened out to the Abyss. The neighboring countries have bravely fought for more than a century in an attempt to push back the invader, but with little success.
You have the opportunity to resolve this struggle now, but there are many obstacles in your way of finding salvation. Will you rise to become a radiant angel supported by honorable paladins? Or perhaps you’re a strong necromancer controlling legions of undead that never die? or something completely different? Lead your army in an assault on powerful demon lords. Your campaign will start a series of events that will permanently alter both you and the entire globe.

- ACT AS YOUR CHOICE OF HERO: With the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset’s flexibility, richness, and depth, you can create any kind of character you can think of. To fit your unique playstyle, pick from over a thousand spells, feats, and abilities among 25 classes and 12 character races.
- A CONSEQUENCE FOR EVERY CHOICE MADE: Your choices now have greater weight than previously. It’s apparent what you want, but you have to find your own way there. Who is going to survive and who die? Who will leave and who will stays? Choose wisely, and observe how the world around you transforms.
- A BRAND-NEW STRATEGY: As you defeat your adversaries, take advantage of two battle modes: turn-based or real-time with pause. You can always go between them quickly to take things as gently as possible.— or as fast — as you choose. You can even engage in more complex fighting manoeuvres, such as mounted combat, thanks to the special Pathfinder ruleset. Make good use of them!
- Assemble your party: Over ten distinct friends are eager to support your endeavor. Gain their respect and trust, and they will always be there for you, no matter what threats are ahead. Furthermore, if you offend them, well. Perhaps it’s time to call it quits.

- Select your path: Discover nine distinct Mythic Paths to gain amazing powers and influence the course of events.
